Advantages
Bonded Magnts have many advantages over sintered and cast materials including: very high lot-to-lot uniformity, high dimensional accuracy of complex shapes, 100% raw material utilization, can be insert molded, and can bond easily to most surfaces.
Disadvantages
For process reasons, the compression bonding process is limited to simpler shapes such as rectangles, rings, arcs and cylinders requiring a consistent cross-sectional area along the compression direction, and possibly tooling costs for production and magnetization
